Submitting the entries: Each participant will sign up and upload the entry to the Intranet and will be able to check that the entry has been uploaded correctly.
The digital illustration will be created directly on our computer, using software for this purpose (Photoshop, Gimp, photofiltre...), with the aid of devices such as mice, optical pens and graphics tablets.
Image-correction software using the computer is not allowed, nor is digitising and editing drawings created by hand. The artist must create directly on the screen (from time to time from an analogue SKETCH) resulting in images produced only from the sum of thousands of independent strokes which together form the illustration.
Production may have finished during the last few years or at the last minute in the party itself. The time that each participant invests in the final outcome will not be taken into account; rather, it is the final result that will be rated. To test your modelling capacity in a short period of time, you may want to join the Fast 2D competition.
Maximum resolution: 1280x1024
Allowed formats: PNG (recommended) and GIF.
The author must include a minimum number of 10 previous working stages. The steps must be named this way: if the drawing is titled FOOBAR.PNG, the steps will be named FOOBAR01.PNG, FOOBAR02.PNG... FOOBAR10.PNG and FOOBAR11.PNG if including 10 steps, where FOOBAR01.PNG is the oldest stage, the "draft", and FOOBAR11.PNG is the finished entry.
Should you not have the steps, a file of the layers must be submitted.
The steps above will be shown to the jury and the public.
The sketches will be delivered in a compressed file (ZIP) along with a .txt file, with a brief explanation (maximum three lines) of the programs and techniques used.
Only one entry per author will be allowed.
The General Rules will apply along with these rules.
The use of artificial intelligence is not allowed. The works that use it will be disqualified.
Participation in the competition implies acceptance of its rules and the decisions of the jury.
