A short film is an audiovisual production that lasts substantially less than the average film time of a normal production.
The genres of short films cover the same types as those productions of a longer duration but, due to their lower cost, they are often used to treat less commercial subjects or in which the author has total creative freedom.
Works will have a maximum resolution of 1080p in a format that can be played using VLC player.
The duration of these will be from one minute to a maximum of 10.
If necessary, the organisation reserves the right to project only the first 3 minutes, in which case, each artist may submit an extra file of their work edited to this duration for this eventuality.
Works submitted in other categories may not be submitted in this competition.
In the short section you can present:
-Video or mini movies made with real images and edited with After effects, Photoshop, Camptasia or a program of your choice.
-Videos made with flash animations, traditional animation.
-Videos made in time lapse or stop motion.
The sketches will be delivered in a compressed file (ZIP) along with a .txt file, with a brief explanation (maximum three lines) of the programs and techniques used.
Only one entry per author will be allowed.
The General Rules will apply along with these rules.
The use of artificial intelligence is not allowed. The works that use it will be disqualified.
Participation in the competition implies acceptance of its rules and the decisions of the jury.
